Republishing of important Sanskrit works

Background
Bhāratīya literature is the vastest in the world and it spans various subjects and their schools of thought. The literature is logically structured and many benefit even a lay reader.

Vision
1. To continue the efforts of our forefathers to bring to the public literature, mainly Bhāṣya and Ṭīkās already in book or manuscript form as searchable text.
2. To provide a platform where concordance can be established easily.
3. Bring out well annotated Ṭīkā and Bhāṣya texts for ease of learning.
4. Help scholars republish works in manuscript form and thereby preserve them online.
5. Bring out translations of important works.
6. Help Sanskrit students of intermediate proficiency attain higher levels

Republishing of the saṃskṛta work - Praṇāmarāmāyaṇam

We are proud to have been part of a book republishing effort a few years ago -  Book - Praṇāmarāmāyaṇam Author - Subrahmanya Śastrigaḻ (1830-1910) Novelty - Mellifluous summary of each sarga of Vālmīkirāmāyaṇa in 680 verses. Each verse is in अष्टप्रासयुत शार्दूलविक्रीडित meter i.e. 8 alliterations in each shloka. The author makes sure to highlight the most important part of each sarga. We would have heard of Nārāyaṇīyam which is a condensation of Bhāgavatam, this work is a similar one for Rāmāyaṇa.  Tamil Translation - Srirāmaghanapāṭhī English Translation - H. Ramachandran The translators have taken great pains to ensure all nuances of the original are expressed.
